A pair of Bordeaux whites from Château Lamothe Vincent

£50.70

This family-run vineyard is situated in the gentle rolling hills of the pretty Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux, surrounded by copses of mature trees, and now boasts a state-of-the-art winery, producing award-winning Bordeaux wines for the contemporary palate.

This case contains three bottles of each of these wines:

Château Lamothe-Vincent Réserve Blanc 2021
AOP Bordeaux sec
This first white is an exquisitely crafted blend of 87% Sauvignon Blanc fermented in stainless steel with 13% Semillon, which is barrique-fermented.
It has a fresh floral, leafy, waxy nose which leads into a silky mouthful of gooseberry and pears, finishing with gentle acidity and good length. Remarkable value.

Château Lamothe-Vincent Intense Sauvignon Blanc 2020
AOP Bordeaux sec
Fabien selected the best grapes to make this special 100% Sauvignon Blanc cuvée, which has controlled cold fermentation and is then left on the lees for four months.
Racy blackcurrant leaf aromas leap out of the glass. It is full of concentrated mango/guava fruit and gooseberry flavours with a lovely mineral finish and gentle acidity. Great as an aperitif or with fish dishes.
