This is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from 28-year old Barossa valley vines. It is then aged for 24 months in a mix of new and 3-year-old oak barrels.
It is a deep purple in colour, and has a gorgeous nose of cassis and eucalyptus with a trace of cedar. In the mouth there is very soft, ripe concentrated cassis and summer pudding fruit with a hint of lead pencils. The tannins are soft and for all its concentration the wine is very elegant. There is good length. Deliciously easy to enjoy!
