Pierre’s top wine has won more than 10 Coup de Coeurs for successive vintages in the prestigious Guide Hachette.  Made from almost 100% Syrah from old vines with low yields, this is then aged for 18 months in new oak barrels.
Dense purple in colour, it has a superb nose of vanilla and ripe cassis fruit. On the palate it is very concentrated, bursting with spicy cassis and black fruits, with an underlying hint of woodsmoke, tapenade, black chocolate and truffles. There are fine, ripe tannins and great length.
Beautiful to drink now, but it will age beautifully over the next 10-15 years, becoming more and more complex and silky.  Similar in style to a top-notch Côte Rôtie from the Northern Rhône. Amazing value for this quality!
