The Colchagua Valley has a Mediterranean climate. The summers are hot and dry. The Pacific Ocean has a positive effect on the vineyards cooling the valley during the hot season.
The wine was aged for 10 months, 10% in French oak foudres, 40% in stainless steel tanks and 50% in French barrels.
Deep purple colour, a racy, minty cassis nose leads into a silky mouthful of blackcurrant and plum fruit with a hint of pomegranate. There are ripe tannins and good length. All too easy to drink!
