Manoir du Carra Fleurie 2023

Probably the best known of the Cru Beaujolais, Fleurie is often referred to as the Queen of the crus. This wine comes from the 1.5 ha lieu-dit of Clos de Déduitswith 50-year-old vines.  Slightly paler purple in colour, there is a lovely perfumed, floral nose of peonies which leads into a lighter, more elegant style of damsons and cherries with a long finish.  A charming wine.
