Bodegas Mano a Mano have 330 hectares of vineyards with 300ha at Finca La Dehesa in Alhambra, where the spectacular winery is surrounded by old Tempranillo vines, aka Cencibel. At around 700m altitude, the vines grow on poor sandy soils, largely gobelet-trained and averaging 50 years old.
Deep in colour, this is a lovely pure example of Tempranillo which is soft and silky, and packed with black fruits, cherry and cassis with hints of vanilla from six months ageing in French oak
