This is a new wine from Pascal Gianseni in Cabardès, which involves scrupulously clean vinification to avoid the addition of sulphur. The result is a beautifully pure wine.
Medium purple in colour, it has a beguiling perfumed nose of wild strawberries. On the palate is bursting with soft, fresh summer fruits with a hint of mint, and good length.  Think of it as an equivalent to a good Beaujolais.  Another perfect BBQ wine, and you can happily glug this on its own. It will even benefit from half an hour in the ‘fridge.
