Christine and Luc have crafted this traditional Languedoc white grape variety, itself a mutation of Carignan Rouge.  In the past high yields with a lack of distinction resulted in its use in blends, and eventually it drifted into obscurity.  However Christine and Luc have a plot of 60 year old vines which produce very low yields.  They have made a single variety wine from these vines and the results are extraordinary.
It is pale lemon in colour with an inviting floral nose with hints of lemon zest.  In the mouth it has flavours of nectarine and white peach with citrus twist, which lead into hints of almond and a long flinty finish.
A perfect choice for chicken with tarragon.
