This lovely blend of Rhône and Bordeaux grape varieties is made from 50% Merlot, 30% Syrah and 20% Grenache.  It is then aged in 2-year old barrels to achieve a subtle oak influence.
Deep in colour, it has a cedary black cherry nose, which leads into a gentle mouthful of blackcurrant, black cherry and woodsmoke. There are soft ripe tannins at the finish with a lingering aftertaste of liquorice.  Delicious now but it will age gently over the next 2-3 years.
