Welcome to the new Christmas List!

We think they’re all great, but here are just a few suggestions.

If it’s a party wine that everyone will enjoy, then the delicious South African pair – the white False Bay ‘Slow’ Chenin Blanc 2016 and the red Percheron Shiraz/Mourvèdre 2016 fit the bill perfectly.

There is a quartet of Sauvignon Blancs – to suit every taste – from the racy Domaine Pre Baron Sauvignon Blanc 2016 in the Loire to New Zealand’s exotic Sileni ‘The Straits” Sauvignon Blanc 2016.

Enjoy some of the great Italian whites and reds on our list. We’ve managed to acquire a small quantity of a bargain Chianti Riserva, Uggiano Chianti Riserva Fagiano 2012 at a bargain price.

No Christmas should be without a Chablis and the La Motte Vieilles Vignes 2015 is stunning quality and value.

A real crowd pleaser is the Chilean Emiliana, Signos de Origen La Vinilla Organic 2015 with its exotic tropical fruit flavours.

If you want a Mixed Case of delicious whites and reds – at both levels of quality – then look no further than the excellent four wines in the Château Vessière Mixed Case Offer

In the reds, the two Riojas from Ontanon are perfect for turkey, but my favourite for the festive meal has to be the award-winning Château Vieux Parc La Sélection 2014 from Corbières.

If you love Pinot Noir but can’t stretch to the high prices commanded by top Burgundy, then try the delicious fruit-driven Domaine Girard Pinot Noir Pech Calvel 2015 from the Limoux area of Southern France and the fruit-driven delights of New Zealand’s Sileni Estates Plateau Pinot Noir 2015.
