Christmas Tasting Update

Cyclist with beret cartoon2A reminder and an update of the wine club’s most exciting Christmas Tasting yet!

There are loads of new French wines to taste.  But we have now assembled the Italians, Spanish and New World wines to try…

Whites : the Pallio di San Floriano a stunning Verdicchio Classico Superiore, a racy Sauvignon Blanc Gran Reserva from the perfect terroir of the San Antonio Valley in Chile, a beautiful organic  Argentinian Semillon.

Reds : a juicy Barbera d’Asti, two great new Organic Riojas from Ontanon, a Pomerol-like Pinna Fidelis from Ribera del Duero, a fabulous organic Carmenère Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva from the Colchagua Valley in Chile, and a tiny amount of the fabled, award-winning Emiliana Coyam 2012 from Chile.

Come and join us on  Friday 6th November at 7.30 to 9.00 pm  at the YMS rooms in 23 Stonegate

The price is only £10 per head, and guests are welcome.

There will some 40 wines open to taste at various tables, and it gives you a great chance to wander round and taste, while enjoying the company of other members of the wine club.
