Come and join us on Wednesday 29th October at 7.30 for 8.00 pm for a Tasting of fine wines from Burgundy.
This tasting is open to all members of the York Medical Society, and not just members of the wine club. We will be tasting Premier Cru Chablis and following my recent trip to the Pouilly Fuissé region some exciting new whites from the Mâcon area, which we will be shipping. In addition we have some delicious reds from less well known Burgundian appellations including Monthélie, Irancy and Premier Cru Savigny-les-Beaune.
This will be a tutored tasting with slides of the men and women who make the wines, and the stories that go with them!
It will be a great opportunity to enjoy some top quality wines, but also to meet other YMS members and enjoy some good company.
Although the wines of Burgundy command a high price, tickets are only £12.50 per head
